suffering

This is a really weird subject but suffering that everyone deals with at one point in time. In the bible Job, one of the most obedient men in the bible, went through a lot of suffering. his entire family, except wife, all died and everything he owned was destroyed. he would later become angry at God but he would be reminded that God controls all things and he was later blessed even more than before.
i really cant think of suffering I been through, but it is always good to remeber God is in charge and controls all things. Before any suffering gets to me God must see it first. for this i am thankful.

Complaining

So one of my biggest issues is complaining and back talking and having a bad attitude. I constantly am getting in trouble because I back talk with attitude or I complain to much. Personally I hate doing it I just don't always realize I'm doing it. this is the number one thing that I want to change. If you have any ideas about helping with this leave comments.
when my parents tell me to do something and I'm either already doing it or I'm in the middle of doing something else I have a tendency to get frustrated and talk rudely to my parents which gets me in trouble. Sometimes it isn't so bad but others I'm cleaning something then my mom will ask me to take the trash out or take Corp, my bladder control challenged bulldog, out to do his buissness.
I love both of my parents I just dont so it the way i should. I tell them each i love them about agillion times a day. unfortunatly my father finds love in respect more than in words which is where i struggle. I don't mean to be disrespectful i really dont and I love them both very much. i am working on being a better listener and son everyday even when it may not seem that way. dealing with tribulations

Everyone deals with tribulations. In the Bible Jesus says you will face tribulations, not if you are good you will not have problems or if your bad you shall see problems. It is important to remember that even though it feels that God has left us he truly has not. When we complain about him not being there it is further faith faltering because we forget he is always there.
In my life there are plenty of times that I forget that God is always with me. I unfortunatly complain alot when things dont go my way. If I can remember that God is always with me and is counting on me to keep a good attitude.

joy

Joy is one of God's greastest gifts to man. It gives us something to be happy about, and it gives us hope. The famous Musican Hayden was asked why all of his hymns seemed so happy. He replied, " I want the joy I found in God to be shared with all man kind." Without joy life would be pretty boring and gloomy.
In my life I find Joy in my crazy little brothers and no matter how much they bug me i still love them.

rest for the weary

Jesus was a human being. This can not be argued. He knew the struggles of everyday work, and knew the feeling of coming home tired after a hard days work. So when he says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." he knows the feeling that you feel.
He further proved this through his ultimate work. When he gave his life for us on the cross he demonstrated his ultimate love for us. This, through his actions, demonstrated that he wanted us to lay our sins and burdens on him so our lives will be easier.

Ask and Receive

John 1 3:22 says, " and whatever we ask we receive from HIm, because we keep His commandments and do those that are pleasing in His sight". this scripture is about God answering the prayers of his children. The scripture also talks about the happiness he feels when he is able to answer our prayers. It also talks about fufilling the prayers of children who listen and heed his commandments.
I can apply this to my life because things always seem better when i'm listening to God rather than when i'm rebeling. When I whine and complain my parents seem to come down on me harder. with good reason of course. but when I listen and comply with what my parents say my life is so much easier.
This is a lesson that I could take to heart, if I start beinging complient in all I do not only will my life be easier around my parents. I might also be able to do more things. My parents would most likely find it easier to trust me and I might get more privileges.

God is always with us

Christ has promised us that he will always be with us. His word cannot fail so he is most definitely always with us. When you are down he is with you, when you feel great pride he is with you, even when you feel dirty and unworthy he is with you. Not only is he always there every day he is there every second of everyday. He will NEVER not be with you for he loves, cares and values you for who you are.
